So you've decided to put your mind to the test and grind through the years of university life? While you are trudging through your years of education, there are a few things to remember.
Students have free use of the Study Hall. Here you will find boards for each class offered at Hogwarts University, and sub-board for each student year. In the Study hall, you will find an archived listing of each lesson given in that class. You may also discuss the lesson with you fellow students, and find help with your classwork as well.
In each classroom there are several sub-boards. The first is titled "Welcome". Here you will find all the information you need for that class outlined by it's Professor. You can expect to see a detailed Syllabus for each year, an overview of the classroom, and any items that the Professor requires you to have from Diagon Alley. You should also find a detailed outline of the Standardized Grading Scale for your reference. The second is titled "Student Registry". Here you will be able to sign up for the class. Be sure to follow any registration guidelines detailed here. The third is titled "Grades" Here you will be able to view your grades and track your progress through the class. If you have a dispute about your grade, inform Headmistress Zeda and she will look into the matter. Be prepared to submit a copy of your work in question to her, so save your work!
- All students are required to take at LEAST two (2) classes each term.
- There are eight total 'years' to complete.
- You must maintain at least a 70% passing rate in order to progress to the next year.
- Your homework should be submitted through a personal message to your Professor.
- Let your Professors know if you plan on being 'absent' for more than a few days so they can be sure to get you any work you missed.
- House points are awarded for your passing or failing in homeworks or exams, so do your best!
- Terms last for 16 weeks. A mid-term exam and a final exam will be given in each class. For News about Term Dates, please see the "TERM NEWS" section on your sidebar.
- All students begin as a "First Year." No exceptions.
- If you wish to complete your "years" faster than is outlined, you may petition for an fast track with Headmistress Zeda
- NO Time Turners will be given out.
