Greetings to all of you!
Wonderful to see you all here! Care of Magical Creatures is a dangerous class. Because of this we ask that you follow all instructions carefully, and don't try to be a hero. If you are injured in this class we will take you straight to Hospital Wing, but you will still be responsible for your homework. All safety gear you will need such as dragon hide gloves are provided for you by the school, however you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. We are not responsible to damage or loss of your personal items in this class. In my class we will look at the creature, and how it lives. We focus on conservation here, and like to see our creatures in their natural environment whenever possible. We are challenging you to think through some of these questions, and really consider how best to conserve and care for these amazing creatures.
Your Care of Magical Creatures classroom is easy enough to navigate. Once you've read through our welcome information, please sign up for our class, then find your year and complete the work. New lessons are posted no later than Monday of each week and homework is due no later than Saturday of each week. Grades will be posted on Sunday. Lets take a look at grades and lessons schedule.
Each year students will be learning different creatures than the others. All students are required to complete their year, but are permitted to participate in previous year's assignments for half points and can participate in older year assignments for double points. If you are participating in a different year than your own, please make note of this in your homework. For Example:
Name: John Doe
House: Gryffindor
Year: 5 (participating in year 3)
Homework here.
Note: Each homework you turn in must be done on separate parchment. (Different personal messages) One for each assignment / year you are completing.
